Recently, former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir expressed his concern for India. Sharing a video on Twitter, he wrote: "my heartfelt duas with u India. Remember we are all with you through our prayers in these difficult times, may Allah bless us all with his rehmat. #getwellsoonindia."
Earlier, the likes of Babar Azam, Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar have sent their well wishes to India.
The deadly virus also impacted the 2021 edition of IPL as the cash-rich tournament was postponed indefinitely on Tuesday (May 4) after COVID-19 breached the bio-bubble and infected a number of players and support staff members.
