Shahid Afridi wishes Sachin Tendulkar a strong recovery after being hospitalized

Sachin Tendulkar was tested positive for COVID-19 last week with mild symptoms.

India batting great Sachin Tendulkar has been hospitalized after being tested positive for the novel Coronavirus last week. He shared the news with his fans on Friday (April 2) and received a lot of good wishes from his well-wishers.

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi also took to Twitter and wished for his strong recovery. He posted a tweet quoting Tendulkar's tweet in which he announced the news on Twitter.

Tendulkar had tweeted, "Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalized. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone."

He also wished the fans and his ex-teammates on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the World Cup 2011 win.

Quoting the tweet, Afridi replied, "Wishing you a speedy recovery Legend . No doubt that you will make a strong recovery. May your hospital stay be short and your recovery even shorter!". Afridi and Tendulkar have played a lot of cricket against each other. 

Earlier, Tendulkar was advised to stay in home quarantine after mild symptoms, and all the other family members were tested negative.
