"I am sure you will hit Covid-19 for a SIX" - Wasim Akram wishes speedy recovery to Sachin Tendulkar

Wasim Akram wished Sachin Tendulkar a speedy recovery from COVID-19 | GettySachin Tendulkar, India’s batting great, was hospitalized on Friday, April 2, 2021, as a precautionary measure after being diagnosed COVID-19 positive recently. He had been in home isolation previously, but medical professionals advised him to get admitted into a hospital.

Not only Sachin Tendulkar, brothers Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan, and S Badrinath also returned COVID-19 positive last week. Notably, all four of them recently took part in the Road Safety World Series 2021 in Raipur.

Tendulkar had led the India Legends team to the title win, defeating the Sri Lanka Legends team in the final, at Raipur’s Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium, which was packed with 50% of the crowd in attendance.

Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and revealed the news to his fans and posted, “Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalized.”

He received wishes and prayers for quick recovery from fans and the cricket fraternity as well. Former Pakistani captain Wasim Akram was one of them, who was concerned about the health of his one-time rival, Tendulkar and wishes him a speedy recovery on Twitter.
