Rohit, in his tweet, said he is looking forward to meeting Dhoni during the toss ahead of Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings' match in UAE.
"One of the most influential men in the history of Indian cricket. His impact in & around cricket was massive. He was a man with a vision and a master in knowing how to build a team,” tweeted Rohit. “Will surely miss him in blue but we have him in yellow. See you on 19th at the toss,” he added.
In his post for Raina, Rohit showed he wasn't expecting him to bid goodbye so early. The Uttar Pradesh batsman is just 33 and has a lot of cricket left in him.
“Bit shocking but I guess you feel it when you feel it. Good career bro, have a great retirement, still remember the time when we came into the squad. Best wishes moving forward,” Rohit wrote in another post.
