Ojha played for India from 2008-2013.
The 33-year-old represented the country in 24 Tests, 18 ODIs and 6 T20Is. While Pragyan claimed 113 wickets in the longest format, he picked 21 and 10 scalps in ODIs and T20Is respectively. He has made his debut in 2008 and played his last match in 2013, in a Test against West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, which was also Sachin Tendulkar’s 200th and final Test.

He was the Man of the Match for his 10/89, was also given Man of the Series award as well and never got to play international cricket again.
He had announced his decision to retire on Twitter with a heartfelt message. "I am writing this letter to tender my formal retirement from international and first-class cricket with immediate effect," Ojha said in a statement on his Twitter account.
