Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians (MI), who is not just a team but family, gathered together for pre-Diwali celebrations.
Team owner Nita Ambai, along with her husband and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani hosted the party at Jio World Centre. From Mahela Jayawardene to Rohit Sharma, MI players and staffs were in full attendance.
Hardik Pandya was also present there with his brother Krunal Pandya. The all-rounder had recently undergone surgery and was gradually getting back on his feet.
"Mumbai Indians have given us all, countless moments of joy and happiness and unbound excitement," said Nita Ambani during the occasion.
MI treats its cricketers and supporting staff with care. They have built a strong bonding which is much needed for a franchise to succeed. Players and staff gel up well with each other make a difference in the field.
No wonder, Mumbai Indians is the most successful IPL franchise with four titles. They have also been down and out, but MI knows how to come back.
