Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi vented out his frustration after bagging a two-ball duck during the PSL 2026 match against Quetta Gladiators at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday (April 17).

Promoting himself to number 7, Shaheen attempted an ambitious slog sweep against mystery spinner Usman Tariq. He mistimed the shot and the ball took a leading edge and ballooned toward slip, where Saud Shakeel took a simple catch.

Visibly furious at his poor shot selection and dismissal, Shaheen slammed his bat against the sidescreen tyre and staircase on his way back to the dressing room.

Coming to the match, Quetta Gladiators defeated Lahore Qalandars by six wickets. Chasing a modest target of 135, the Gladiators won with 22 balls to spare, largely thanks to Rilee Rossouw’s unbeaten 60 and Hasan Nawaz’s 49.

Usman Tariq was adjudged Player-of-the-Match for his stunning bowling figures of 3/18 in four overs.
