India's captain for the Sri Lanka tour, Shikhar Dhawan loves 'Mock duck', which is a gluten-based vegetarian food. He called it his favorite dish and BCCI gave fans a look at how the dish is made in their latest video.
Chef Rakesh Kamble at Mumbai's Grand Hyatt, where Indian cricketers are quarantining ahead of the Sri Lanka tour, showed how the 'Mock duck' is prepared and served.

The took the viewers through the entire process of how the recipe is made. The dish is a meat substitute and high protein. Chef Rakesh also revealed that apart from Dhawan, Sanju Samson, and Pandya brothers also love it.
"This is Sanju Samson's hot favorite. I asked Shikhar Dhawan to try it, and he loved it. The Pandya brothers usually order it once or twice at least in 3-4 days," he said.
India will play a 3-match ODI series, followed by a 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka scheduled in July. All matches will be played at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo.
