India bowled out WI for 176 in 1st ODI.
India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Deepak Hooda made his ODI debut for India.
India did well to bowl out the West Indies for 176, despite Jason Holder’s 57 and Fabien Allen’s 29. Yuzvendra Chahal picked 4/49 and Washington Sundar got 3/30, while Prasidh Krishna took two wickets as well.
Rohit Sharma also took the three DRS reviews correctly and Virat Kohli should be credited for one of them, as he was the one to convince the new ODI captain to go for it.

It was in the 22nd over of the game when Chahal dished out the leg-break that turned sharply, drawing Shamarh Brooks out for a forward defense. However, the ball took the outside edge and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant completed the dismissal.
The on-field umpire did not give it out and most Indian team members weren't convinced including Pant, who felt that the ball came off the pads and not the bat. Virat Kohli supported Chahal as he asked Rohit to go for the review.
“Rohit, the ball hit the bat and the bat hit the pad. 100 percent I heard the sound. I felt this was out (Mere hisaab se out hai),” Kohli was heard saying.

The review was upheld by the TV umpire as the Ultraedge showed the spike when the ball was next to the bat and Brooks was given out as India reviewed successfully for the third time in the game.
