Mohammed Siraj picked up the first wicket in India's 1000th ODI match.
India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj unveiled footballer Cristiano Ronaldo's famous 'siii' celebration in the first ODI against West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Captain Rohit Sharma asked the visitors to bat first after winning the toss. Siraj gave them an early shock by dismissing Shai Hope on their total of 13 runs in the third over.

Hope tried to drive the ball but ended up chopping it onto the stumps. The India pacer was delighted to take the first wicket and he celebrated it in style.
After the wicket, the 27-year-old jumped and performed the famous 'siiii' celebration (popularly called as siu), a trademark style of football star Ronaldo. The Portugal footballer usually yells the word 'Si' which means 'yes' in Spanish.
India are playing their 1,000th ODI, and they are the first side to achieve the feat. In the 999 ODIs played earlier, India recorded 518 wins and 431 losses.
