Sri Lankan batter Charith Asalanka was saved by DRS after a LBW decision against him.
India's head coach Rahul Dravid's priceless reaction was captured after a DRS overturned the on-field umpire's decision during the first T20I against Sri Lanka. It was an LBW shout off Yuzvendra Chahal which was initially given out by the on-field umpire Virender Sharma.
The incident happened in the 6th over when Chahal trapped Charith Asalanka out LBW for 7. Asalanka had tried to sweep the leggie but he couldn't make a connection and the ball ended up hitting his pads.
Chahal's convincing appeal made the umpire give the Sri Lankan batter out. But Asalanka went on to challenge the decision and it turned out to be a successful review for him.
The replay showed that the ball had touched the batter's bat before hitting the pads. After the umpire gave it not-out, captain Rohit Sharma and coach Dravid's reaction was caught on camera.
