IND v AUS 2022: Cricket fraternity reacts as Cameron Green's tornado like 52 blows away India

Cameron Green scored his second fifty of the series.

Australia’s makeshift opener Cameron Green has impressed one and all in this ongoing three-match T20I series against India as he has scored two blistering half-centuries in the series. He had started with 61 in the first T20I which Australia won easily.

And today on September 25, 2022, he blew away the Indian bowlers in the powerplay in the third T20I which is being played in Hyderabad. India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to field first.  

Cameron Green started off by hitting Bhuvneshwar Kumar for a six and a four in the first over itself and continued the assault by hitting Akshar Patel for two fours in the second over. He then stunned one and all by launching Jasprit Bumrah for a four and two huge sixes in the third over.

And then despite losing Aaron Finch in the next over, hit Akshar Patel for three fours. He completed his 50 in 19 balls and was ultimately dismissed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 52 in 21 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes to his name when Australia’s score read 62/2 in 5 overs.

The cricket fraternity was left shocked at the way he took on the Indian bowlers in the powerplay and lauded his hitting abilities.
