Virat Kohli's last Test hundred came against Bangladesh in November 2019 at home.
India captain Virat Kohli is struggling to get his batting form back in the ongoing Test series against England. Kohli, who last scored his Test hundred in 2019 against Bangladesh, needs to play his best knock of the year to save the third Test for India.
Team India were bowled out for 78 runs in the first innings at Headingley and England have already added a lead of over 300 runs at the end of the second day's play. Notably, Kohli hasn't got a half-century in the five innings of the ongoing Test series.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) all-rounder Riyan Parag, who's a huge fan of Kohli, is expecting the Indian skipper to come in handy with the bat in the second innings at Leeds.
"Virat Kohli 100 2nd innings lesgoo???????? #INDvsEND," Parag tweeted before the start of Day 3's play.
In the first innings, England pacer James Anderson got Kohli out as the latter edged a delivery outside off-stump to the wicket-keeper Jos Buttler. He went back to the pavilion for just 7 runs.
