ENG v IND 2021: WATCH – Crowd throws bottle corks at KL Rahul; Virat Kohli signals him to throw it back

The incident happened during the 69th over of England’s innings.

Cricket fraternity witnessed a bizarre incident during the third day of the ongoing second Test between India and England at Lord’s.

It was the 69th over of England’s innings when someone from the crowd threw bottle corka on the field near KL Rahul on the boundary.

The antics of unruly crowd left the Indian skipper Virat Kohli furious and he signalled Rahul to throw the stuff back to the spectators in the stands.

Coming to the match, England scored 97 runs without a loss of a wicket in the morning session on Day 3.

The hosts were 216/3 when the lunch break was taken, with skipper Joe Root (89*) and Jonny Bairstow (51*) unbeaten in the middle. They are still trailing the visitors by 148 runs in the first innings.
