India celebrated Diwali in Bengaluru on eve of their last CWC league match v Netherlands.

The Indian team celebrated the Diwali festival with their loved ones in Bengaluru ahead of their ICC World Cup 2023 match against the Netherlands. Not only the entire team members were present, but also their loved ones joined them in celebrations.

In several images going viral on social media, players could be seen arriving specially dressed up for Diwali celebrations at a venue in Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli arrived with his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Rohit Sharma was also accompanied by his wife Ritika Sajdeh. Ravindra Jadeja was accompanied by his wife Rivaba Jadeja and apart from them, Shardul Thakur, Suryakumar Yadav, and Prasidh Krishna were amongst the players who came with their better halves.

While the BCCI shared a video from the event, players and fans posted pictures on social media, which have been widely shared.

India, who are so far unbeaten in eight matches, have already qualified for the semifinals, where they will face New Zealand on November 15. The second semi-final will be contested between Australia and South Africa on November 16.
