Pakistan skipper Babar Azam picked his three favorite batters in the world, including India's Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, as well as New Zealand's Kane Williamson.

Even though India and Pakistan have the greatest rivalry in cricket, Babar showed his appreciation for India's two top-quality batters. Both batters have scored the most runs in this World Cup, with Virat scoring 354 runs in 5 innings and Rohit scoring 311 runs in the same number of innings.

Babar, who himself is considered one of the finest batters in the world, explained what he likes the most about superstars like Kohli, Rohit, and Williamson who have been serving their respective countries for a long time.

In a video, Babar said that it's the ability of Kohli, Rohit and Williamson to get the team out of difficult situations that he admires the most.

"Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Kane Williamson are my favorite batters in the world. They're the top players in the world. They read the conditions well, that's why they are the best. I admire them. The best thing I like about Virat, Rohit, and Kane is how they get the team out of difficult situations and score runs against tough bowling. This is what I try to learn from them," Babar said on Star Sports.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have both hit a century each in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. India has won all five of its matches thus far. Kane Williamson has only managed to play one match in the tournament.

He missed a few matches as he recovered from his knee injury and then in his return match, fractured his thumb after getting hit by an errant throw.

Pakistan skipper Babar, however, is staring at his team's elimination from the World Cup. In six matches, Pakistan has only won two matches in this World Cup.
