Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi has a great record against India, except for their last meeting in the Asia Cup 2023, but he has not yet been seen at his best in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

However, ahead of the mega clash of the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023 between India and Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi fired a warning to the Men in Blue as the speedster vowed to take a five-wicket haul on Saturday, October 14, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Notably, the left-armer conceded 66 runs in nine overs for a scalp against Sri Lanka before finishing up with the figures of 1-37 in seven overs against the Netherlands.

These figures are not impressive, and he has to blaze all guns if Pakistan wants to pose a challenge to Team India in Ahmedabad.

However, Shaheen practiced hard at the nets on Friday and has full confidence in once again leading the pace of the Pakistan team in the crucial encounter against India.

Meanwhile, when Afridi was returning from the field after intense training on Thursday, he was asked for a selfie but denied it by saying he would take five wickets on Saturday and then would take it happily.

Few members of the media reportedly asked Afridi for a selfie as he made his way off the Motera ground after training. To which, Pakistani pacer replied according to Revsportz: “Zaroor selfie loonga, but five wicket lene ke baad [I’d be happy to take one, but only after I’ve claimed five wickets].”
