Asia Cup 2023: WATCH- Virat and Rohit’s celebratory dance in swimming pool after record ODI win over Pakistan

India defeated Pakistan by 228 runs in Asia Cup Super 4s encoutner.

India team registered a massive 228-run win over Pakistan in their Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s stage match which was played in Colombo on September 10 and 11. The encounter had to be resumed on the reserve day due to rain interruption.

The Men in Blue had made 147/2 on September 10 with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill scoring fifties and adding 121 runs for the first wicket. When the rain stopped play, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli were at the crease.

The game resumed on September 11, the reserve day and saw Rahul and Kohli hammering centuries as India posted 356/2 in 50 overs. Rahul made 111* and Kohli hit 122* as the duo added 233* runs for the third wicket.

In response, Pakistan crumbled for 128 runs with Kuldeep Yadav taking 5/25.

BCCI shared a video of how Indian players celebrated the win over Pakistan at the team hotel by chilling in the swimming pool. The likes of Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and others could be seen having a dip in cold water. Rohit and Kohli were also seen doing some dance moves in the water.
