Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both were dismissed by Shaheen Afridi.
Shaheen Afridi landed two huge blows in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan being played at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka on September 2. The left-arm pacer ran through the Indian top order with ease.
India won the toss and chose to bat first and Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah asked some tough questions in overcast conditions as Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma played them cautiously. Sharma even hit Shaheen for a brilliant boundary, before rain halted play.
After the play resumed Shaheen Afridi shortened his length and had Rohit Sharma play and miss on several balls.

One of the balls swung away from the Indian captain, as it completely bamboozled him. Virat Kohli sitting in the dugout too was shocked at seeing this, and he gave a hilarious reaction, with his eyes becoming wide.

However, on the next ball, Rohit Sharma was dismissed courtesy of a brilliant in-swinger that completely rattled Rohit Sharma's stumps. He was dismissed for 11 from 22 balls. On the other hand, Virat Kohli who came out to bat at no.3 also fell at the hands of Afridi.
