Kohli hit 122*- the highest T20I score by an Indian batter, bettering Rohit Sharma's 118.
This was also Virat Kohli’s 71st international century and the first since he hit a ton in November 2019 in a Test against Bangladesh. He made 122* in 61 balls with six sixes and 12 fours, breaking Rohit Sharma’s record of 118- the highest T20I score by an Indian batter.
He punished every Afghani bowler including Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid Khan and reached his century with a flurry of boundaries and a six to boot for.

This also made him only the fourth Indian to score centuries in all three formats of international cricket after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul.
Later Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked 5/4 to rout Afghanistan's top order as they made 111/8 to lose the game by 101 runs.
