Former India spinner Amit Mishra has been on the top of his social media game for the last year or so and displayed his savageness once more while taking a jibe at Pakistani fielders. This instance came after a wonderful effort by Khushdil Shah during the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2022 match on September 4.

The two sides clashed for the second time in the ongoing tournament, this time in the Super 4s stage. India had previously defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the group stage clash on August 28.

Babar Azam won the toss and chose to bowl first. Both teams had to make a few changes as Pakistan brought in Mohammad Hasnain for injured Shahnawaz Dahani. India, on the other hand, included Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Ravi Bishnoi in place of Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, and Avesh Khan.

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul took the attack to Pakistan pacers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain as the duo added 54 runs in 5.1 overs. Rohit Sharma was the first wicket to fall as he was caught by Khushdil Shah off Haris Rauf for 28 in 16 balls.

Rohit had sent the ball in the air after top-edging it and the ball swerved in the air with Khushdil Shah and Fakhar Zaman going for it. In the end, Zaman bumped into Khushdil and the ball missed Fakhar’s hands, but landed safely into the palms of Khushdil, finishing a beauty of a catch.

This led to India spinner Amit Mishra taking a jibe at Pakistani fielding lauding the catch and calling it a good change. He compared this catch with the one that Shoaib Malik and Saeed Ajmal let go of Chris Gayle during an ODI in UAE.

Both Ajmal and Malik failed to call for the ball and it landed safely in between the two, with both blaming one another.

A good change for Pakistan. They have really improved their fielding,” Amit Mishra trolled Pakistan fielding.
