Asia Cup 2022: WATCH – “Bhai tera chakka nahi bhulay ga,” Pakistan fan Momin Saqib meets Hardik & Kohli after epic clash

India defeated Pakistan by five wickets in a nail-biting encounter on August 28.

After the nail-biter India-Pakistan clash during the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai on Sunday (August 28), Pakistan fan Momin Saqib uploaded a couple of videos, where he can be seen meeting Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya.

Saqib came into the limelight with his ‘Maaro mujhe maaro’ comment on the Pakistan team after they lost to India in the 2019 World Cup.

While meeting Pandya, Saqib congratulated the all-rounder and added that he is looking forward to an India versus Pakistan final on September 11.

Taking to Twitter, Saqib shared the video with the caption: “Good neck-to-neck game. Despite being young & with raw talent, our bowlers did an amazing job. But you batted well to take the match away from us @hardikpandya7 Bhai tera chakka nahi bhulay ga!”

In the clip, the Pakistan fan can be heard saying: “Congratulations on the comeback after the IPL title and ‘aaj bhi bada acha aap khele’ (You played well today as well). Good to see you, Inshahallah, fir final mey milenge (Godd willing, we’ll play again in the final).”

Hardik Pandya starred in India’s thrilling victory with his stellar all-round showing. He returned with the bowling figures of 3 for 25 in his four overs and then produced a stunning knock of 17-ball 33* to take the Men in Blue over the line with five wickets in hand and two balls to spare.

Saqib also met veteran India Virat Kohli, who played a decent knock o 34-ball 35 during the chase.

He wrote: “A great sportsman and a humble personality. The one and only @imVkohli Good to see him back in form! What a game tonight! Shall see you in the Final!”

To which, Kohli replied: “E ta chalda rehnda aa (Win and loss is part of the game). Tusi bhi ta Nede aa gye si (You guys also came very close).”

India will take on Hong Kong in their next match on August 31, while Pakistan will face Hong Kong on September 2.
