Pakistan already replaced Shaheen Afridi with Mohammad Hasnain earlier.
PCB released a statement saying that Wasim picked up the injury while bowling in Pakistan’s practice session on Wednesday. The bowler was assessed by the team medical staff, and an MRI scan in Dubai confirmed the diagnosis.
They discussed the findings with the PCB Medical Advisory Committee, while an independent review by a specialist physiotherapist was also pursued. The medical team will carefully monitor Wasim’s rehabilitation and his return to competitive cricket will be reviewed before the England tour to Pakistan.

Hasan Ali had been working on his bowling in the National High-Performance Centre for the past three weeks and is presently in Rawalpindi. He will fly to UAE when his replacement request is approved.
Earlier Mohammad Hasnain had replaced injured Shaheen Shah Afridi who is dealing with a serious knee injury.
