With just a week left for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022, starting on August 27, all the hype is around the mega battle between India and Pakistan on August 28 at Dubai International Stadium.

The two arch-rivals will meet for the first time after the T20 World Cup 2021, where Team India suffered a 10-wicket defeat against Pakistan at the same venue in Dubai.

However, the 'Men in Blue' are favorites to win the match next week, given their form and winning record in the Asia Cup (8 wins from 14 matches). Notably, India has won the Asia Cup trophy seven times.

Ahead of much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash, Rohit Sharma admitted that it is a "high-pressure game," but they are trying to keep the hype around the clash down in the dressing room. The Indian skipper said that he and head coach Rahul Dravid were telling the players that it was just another game.

Speaking to Star Sports, Rohit said: “Everyone watches the game especially India vs Pakistan. Without a doubt, it is a high-pressure game but within the group, we want to create a normal atmosphere and don't want to hype this game within ourselves. For us, it is just a game of cricket. It is important for me and Rahul Bhai to tell the players that it's just another opposition.”
