India leads 2-0 in the three-T20I series against Zimbabwe.
India's victories in the first two games have given them an unbeatable 2-0 advantage. India defeated Zimbabwe by 90 runs in the second T20I on July 25 after winning the previous one on July 23 by seven wickets.
Chopra asked why Prabhsimran hasn't been given a chance on his YouTube channel. Additionally, he suggested that as Abhishek Sharma has struggled to score runs and must play in the third T20I, Ishan Kishan should make way for Prabhsimran Singh in the India XI.
"I am thinking of playing Prabh (Prabhsimran Singh) as well. What's his mistake? You have selected Prabhsimran Singh, and we have no idea whatsoever when you would select him again. You have won the series," Chopra said on his YouTube channel.
Chopra said India should continue backing Abhishek Sharma despite his poor scores in the first two matches. Abhishek Sharma has managed 1 and 8 runs in the two T20Is so far. Chopra stated that Prabhsimran Singh should play in the third T20I in place of Ishan Kishan.
“So, play him (Prabhsimran) in place of Abhishek, or else play him in place of Ishan. You can actually play him in place of Ishan. Don't play him in place of Abhishek. He hasn't scored runs. Two matches have gone badly for him. So, play him in the third as well. Make him score runs, and if a bowling option is required, make him do that job as well.
Give a break to Ishan. Prabhsimran Singh will easily do the keeping job as well. So, you can use him like that as a player. This is an opportunity that can be given to Prabh,” Chopra added.
The Punjab Kings wicketkeeper-batter is yet to play for India but has scored 3,665 runs in 127 T20 innings at a strike rate of 151.50.
