Ollie Pope finished the Test series with 153 runs in 8 innings.
Rishabh Pant performed a brilliant stumping off Akshar Patel to send back Ollie Pope and end his misery against spin
Team India completed their first innings batting in the first session on Day 3 of the fourth Test against England in Ahmedabad as they got all out for 365, with a lead of 160 runs under their belt. England faltered in their second innings losing quick wickets as soon as R Ashwin came on to bowl.
Ashwin took the ball in the fifth over of the innings and scalped the wickets of Zak Crawley and Jonny Bairstow in the same over. He also picked the England skipper Joe Root later in the innings. Ashwin was well supported by Akshar Patel at the other end.

The left-arm-spinner picked Dominic Sibley and Ben Stokes before some brilliant glove work from Pant saw the end of Ollie Pope. Pope used his feet unsuccessfully throughout the series to try and counter spin. Yet again, in what will be England’s last batting outing in the ongoing Test series, Pope got out dancing down the track.
On the fifth ball of the 25th over, the England no. 6 batsman decided to give Patel the charge. While he stepped down to the ball that pitched far away from where he had reached, it had enough time to get some extra bounce and beat the bat.
While Pope missed the shot, Pant did well to collect the ball pretty high and dislodge the bails in a flash. Pope managed to score 15 runs off 31 balls leaving England 65/5.
