Rizwan couldn't get the names right and he was himself smiling during the presser.
Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan found it tough to pronounce the names of South African cricketers. Speaking to the media, he mispronounced the names of George Linde and Anrich Nortje.
Rizwan was talking about the bowlers who picked up five wickets in an innings of the second Test between Pakistan and South Africa. Nortje and Hasan Ali picked up a fifer in the first innings, while Linde bagged five wickets in the second innings.
"Hasan bhai ne paanch out kiye, unka wo nodjiye hai ya nokia hain, jo bhi hain usne bhi paanch out kiye (Hasan bhai got five wickets, and their bowler nodjiye or nokia also picked up five wickets)," the wicketkeeper-batsman said. He then went on to call Linde as 'Lundi', completely failing to pronounce the name.
Rizwan had a smile on his face after he couldn't get the names right and everyone saw the funny side of it. A Pakistan journalist shared the video on his Twitter account from the press conference.
The 28-year-old has scored an unbeaten 118 in the second innings of the Test match. His knock helped Pakistan put up a target of 370 in the second Test.
