WWE wrestler Triple H is a cricket lover and followed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21.
Team India's heroics in Australia coming down from 36 all out to win the Border Gavaskar Trophy for a record second consecutive time have made the world turn its head and have a look at them.
WWE legend Triple H (Paul Levesque) is one of those who followed the series and was extremely proud of the way the Indian team fought.
Triple H, now the Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development for WWE, called it a 'WWE-scripted level of a comeback' for Team India and not many would disagree.
Earlier, Triple H had also followed the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and gifted the first-time winners, England, one of his championship belts.
Triple H told Hindustan Times, "I did follow it but unfortunately did not get to see it in real-time due to the time difference. India pulling off a WWE-scripted level of comeback and winning is amazing. It’s awesome, so proud of everybody there. I will say this, I know everybody is still celebrating there, I will invite the team personally."
"Come, watch and be a part of the Superstar Spectacle and continue the celebrations. We would like to celebrate with you. If they want to a part of that, give us a call, will love to make that happen. I am incredibly proud of it, what a comeback, and congratulations," he added.
Triple H has been fond of the game of cricket for the past few years now and it is absolutely scintillating to know for the Indians have watched the legend in action and also follow cricket.
