Jones shared message after Pakistan's defeat in the first Test against England.
Former Australia cricketer Dean Jones urged Pakistani fans to prioritize winning matches rather than just being happy with Babar Azam’s performances after Pakistan suffered a 3-wicket defeat in the opening Test of the three-match Test series against Pakistan this weekend.
Azam is the most talked batsman of current times, given his ability to score runs irrespective of conditions and being able to shoulder the burden of scoring runs for Pakistan in all three formats with ease.
His Test average 45 and a white-ball average of 50 speaks all about his batting and Azam scored a brilliant 69 in first innings of Manchester Test, receiving wide praise from the cricket fraternity.
However, he made just 5 in the second do, as Pakistan folded for 169 runs, setting England 277 to win. Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler's heroics after England were five down for about 120 runs handed the visitors a loss in a match that they should have won.

Following the defeat, Jones shared a message for Pakistan fans, saying they should concentrate on team win and not Azam performance.
He wrote on Twitter: “Message for Pakistan fans.. yes it's always great when Babar Azam scores runs.. but he will tell you.. winning is priority!!”
Noteworthy, the final two Tests will be played at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on August 13 and August 21 respectively. They will also play a 3-match T20I series next month.
