The England pacer had a precautionary test after a member of his family felt unwell.

In an update on Thursday (June 25), the ECB tweeted: "Archer has tested negative for COVID-19. He will join the England camp at Ageas Bowl later today and will be free to start training tomorrow with the rest of the group."
Archer had gone for the test after a member of his family felt unwell.
"Archer, and members of his household, have tested negative for COVID-19. He will have a second test tomorrow (Wednesday, June 23), and if he tests negative, he will join up with the training group on Thursday," said the ECB in an earlier statement.
The rest of the England team arrived in Southampton on Tuesday (June 23) to kickstart preparations for the series, beginning July 8.
The three-match Test rubber will mark the resumption of international cricket in a bio-secure bubble and in adherence with the highest safety protocols due to the ongoing pandemic.
