ESPNCricinfo reported that the BCCI received their share from ICC in March 2020 itself.
ESPNCricinfo reported that the share of the prize money amounting to USD 500,000 (INR 3.5 crore approximately) will be given by the BCCI, who have asked the players to raise invoices to get their shares on Monday.
ESPNCricinfo also shared that the ICC disbursed the prize money to the BCCI last March, around a week after the World Cup final. BCCI officials told ESPNCricinfo they have no knowledge of the reason behind the delay. ESPNCricinfo confirmed the delay with more than one player and support staff member who was part of the India squad led by Harmanpreet Kaur.

The delay was first reported by The Telegraph newspaper of UK, who also said that other teams including the champions Australia, receiving theirs soon after the tournament was over.
It has also generated some sharp criticism of the BCCI, who have disbursed all other payments owed to the players since March 2020. This includes three installments of their central contracts fee for 2019-20, match fees, and appearance fees for the Women's T20 Challenge in Sharjah last November.
The players have also submitted their invoices for the recently held limited-overs series against South Africa, however, the payments are awaited.
