The third edition of the Women's T20 Challenge will be played in a span of 6 days from November 4 to November 9 at Sharjah. Three teams IPL Trailblazers, IPL Velocity, and the defending champions IPL Supernovas will be contesting for the title.

These three teams will be led by Smriti Mandhana, Mithali Raj, and Harmanpreet Kaur respectively. All three cricketers landed in the UAE today, October 22. The trio will be quarantined in the UAE for a mandatory 6-day period before being allowed to train outdoors.

BCCI announces squads for Women's T20 Challenge; Harmanpreet, Mithali, Mandhana named captains

The official Twitter handle of the Indian Premier League posted the photos of Mandhana, Raj, and Kaur traveling in PPE kits.

Here is the post:

Let’s hear it for our girls! ????✨

All the cricketers participating in the tournament will be kept in a bio-secure bubble and will continue to be there till the end of the tournament on November 9.

The Women's T20 Challenge in 2020 will be missing the Australian faces who will be participating in the Women's Big Bash League, starting October 25. However, there is an interesting addition to the tournament in Malaysian cricketer Natthakan Chantam.

Chantam is the only female cricketer from her country to make a T20I half-century. She achieved this feat in the Women's T20 World Cup 2020, which was played just before the COVID-19 pandemic took over. The 24-year-old will be representing the Trailblazers in Women's T20 challenge 2020.
