Last week, India’s squad for the global showpiece tournament was announced. Rohit Sharma was named the captain of the 15-member squad.
All of India’s T20 World Cup-bound players are currently participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season.
On Sunday (May 5), a glimpse of India's T20 World Cup jersey was leaked online and it sparked a social media furore within moments.
While the BCCI is yet to release Team India's official kit for the tournament, the netizens have been sharing it on their walls, claiming it could be the outfit that Rohit and his men will sport in the marquee event.
According to the viral posts, the Indian team will don a jersey having the blend of deep blue and saffron shades. There are tri-coloured stripes on V-shaped shirt’s neck and saffron sleeves with the trademark Adidas stripes.
