Pakistan registered their maiden win in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 as they defeated the Netherlands by 6 wickets in Perth on October 30. Pakistan had lost their first two matches to India and Zimbabwe setting panic in the camp.

Netherlands captain Scott Edwards won the toss and chose to bat first, a decision that proved fatal as Pakistani pacers kept them to just 91/9 in 20 overs. Shadab Khan took 3 wickets, while Mohammad Wasim Jr took two wickets.

In reply, Mohammad Rizwan made 49 runs as Pakistan reached the target in under 14 overs with 6 wickets in hand. The win keeps Pakistan's faint semi-final hopes alive but a lot needs to go their way for them to make the last 4.

However, the Men in Green's woes continued as captain Babar Azam continued his poor run with the bat, as after scoring 0 and 4 in the first two matches, Babar got run out against the Netherlands for 4 runs.

While fans and former Pakistan players have been criticizing Babar's captaincy, not many have spoken about the star's poor batting performance.

On Sunday, former India spinner Amit Mishra took to Twitter to post a message for Babar. He posted: "This too shall pass. Stay strong @babarazam258."

This was the exact message that Babar had shared for Virat Kohli earlier this year when the India star was going through a rough patch. Hence it seems Mishra’s message to Babar had a bit of mischief in it as well.
