Sam Curran bagged a five-wicket haul for England.
England and Afghanistan are currently engaged in Match 14 of the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022, which is the first match for both teams in their respective campaigns.
England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and opted to field first, and his bowlers responded with a clinical display as they bowled out Afghanistan for a paltry total of 112 in the final over.
Only Ibrahim Zadran (32) and Usman Ghani (30) put up a sense of respectability to the Afghani batting which was exposed on the pacy and bouncy pitch in Perth. For England, Sam Curran bagged a five-wicket haul and finished with 5/10.
