Indian cricket team's fate in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 tournament depends on Afghanistan when they face New Zealand on Sunday (November 7). The Indian cricket fans are praying for Afghanistan to beat the Kiwis so India could qualify after defeating Namibia.

Social media is flooded with memes in support of Afghanistan ahead of the important clash. Even Afghanistan will increase their chances of qualifying for the semi-final if they beat New Zealand convincingly and India fails to overtake their net run-rate against Namibia.

Apart from fans, even ex-India cricketers Wasim Jaffer and Aakash Chopra shared memes on Twitter that showed the huge expectations on Afghanistan to beat New Zealand.

"Mood today #AfgvsNZ #T20WorldCup," wrote Jaffer while posting a video in which famous Bollywood singer Himesh Reshammiya sings "Rabba luck barsa". 

Chopra's tweet features Afghanistan players in the video with the song "Oo Palanhare" from Lagaan playing in the background, suggesting everything now depends on them.

Irfan Pathan shared a Sholay meme featuring 'Jai-Veeru' Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra to join in the fun.
