Martin Guptill injured his left foot in the match against Pakistan.
New Zealand opener Martin Guptill has regained his fitness and is available for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 clash against India.
New Zealand and Team India are all set to clash in a must-win encounter today (31st October). Both the teams would be eager to get a win under their belt after defeating Pakistan and it would be interesting to see who among them can stage a comeback.
However, ahead of the match, the Kane Williamson-led side has received a major boost as premier batter Martin Guptill has been deemed fit for the match against India.

The opening batter was hit on his left foot in the match against Pakistan, which put his availability for the match against India under the scanner. New Zealand head coach, Gary Stead confirmed that Martin Guptill is fit and available for the selection against India and had two training sessions.
"It went a different shade of color for a period of time. But he trained yesterday and he's training again tonight, so it’s great to see that he’s available and fit for selection," Gary Stead was quoted as saying by New Zealand media.
Martin Guptill didn’t have the greatest outings against Pakistan in their first match of T20 World Cup 2021 as he scored only 17 runs and would be hoping to leave an impact in the must-win clash against India.
