Harbhajan and Amir clashed in a war of words on Twitter.
Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Amir had a heated exchange on Twitter after the latter took a dig at the former post Pakistan's 10-wicket win over India in the T20 World Cup 2021 clash on October 24 in Dubai.
Ahead of the high voltage clash, there was banter from both sides as Harbhajan suggested that Pakistan should give India a walkover considering their winless record against the neighbours. But after 12 World Cup defeats, Pakistan finally recorded their first win over India and that too in some style by 10 wickets.
Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar pulled the leg of Harbhajan and reminded him of his words and told him to tolerate the consequences. Harbhajan congratulated his good friend and suggested that the Indian team will get back at Pakistan soon.

In all this, Amir too joined in as he questioned whether Harbhajan broke his TV after India's defeat. Unlike with Shoaib, this time Harbhajan perhaps didn't like the dig and responded by sharing a video of himself hitting Amir for a six to win the match for India in 2010 Asia Cup match.
Amir then shared a video of Shahid Afridi hitting Harbhajan for four consecutive sixes in a Test match played in 2006. Harbhajan lost his cool and slammed Amir for disgracing the game by bowling an intentional no-ball at Lord's which resulted in him being banned from playing cricket for 5 years.
With the discussion heating up Amir replied saying Harbhajan's backside is now on fire hearing Afridi's name and it's better to run. Harbhajan finally told Amir to reveal to his nation how much he got for selling himself and that he regrets getting into a conversation with him before telling the Pakistan seamer to ‘get lost’.
