Defending champions West Indies crashed to their lowest total ever in the T20 World Cup in a six-wicket defeat against top ranked England in Dubai, who won with 70 balls to spare. It was a rude wake-up call for the much fancied Kieron Pollard-led side.

England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to bowl first keeping the dew factor in mind, and his bowlers delivered to the extent even he would not have imagined as West Indies crashed for 55 in 14.2 overs.

Leg-spinner Adil Rashid finished with astonishing figures of 4/2, while Moeen Ali and Tymal Mills took two wickets each as only Chris Gayle (13) could reach double figures in a disastrous outing for the Windies batters.

England knocked off the runs in just 8.2 overs, losing four wickets in pursue of quick runs to increase their net run-rate. Jos Buttler scored 24* and ensured the team reached the target without any major hiccups.

On a very disappointing night for his team, spinner Akeal Hosein provided some cheer as he completed an outrageous caught and bowled dismissal to get rid of Liam Livingstone for 1. He finished with 2/24 in his four overs after joining the squad as replacement for injured Fabian Allen.

Watch the catch which was described by former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan as the "best caught and bowled ever" on his Twitter account.
