The legendary duo walked out with the silverware and they were accompanied by ICC chairman Jay Shah. The moment was marked by loud cheers from the capacity crowd.

Coming to the final, New Zealand won the toss and invited India to bat first. While the hosts fielded an unchanged side, the Kiwis brought in pacer Jacob Duffy into their playing XI by dropping all-rounder Cole McConchie.
Reigning champions India are on the brink of achieving three world records. If they win, the Men in Blue will become the first team to defend the T20 World Cup title, win it thrice and win it on home soil.
