Taylor has become first player to play hundred matches in all three formats.
New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor completed 100 Test matches on Friday when he took the field against India for the first Test. He becomes the only cricketer ever to play 100 matches in each of the 3 international formats.
New Zealand cricket fraternity presented Ross Taylor with hundred wine bottles on the occasion. Former New Zealand cricketer Ian Smith and current Kiwi cricketers were also present to celebrate the occasion.

“Really excited about the occasion. It’s not a great sign when you wake up in the morning and there’s some rain around. Ian Smith said a few words at an event last night, and it was very nice for the team and the family to experience something they might never do again. I’ll need some help drinking (the hundred bottles of wine), but they can be stored for a while,” Taylor said after the special gesture.
Taylor walked for the national anthems before the first test against India with his kids; eight-year-old Mackenzie and six-year-old Jonty in their Black Caps shirts.
