Umran Malik hit a top speed of 153.1 kph on his ODI debut vs New Zealand.
Malik impressed with the ball early on as well, reaching a top speed of 153.1 kph during his spell, and managed to get two wickets on his debut thus far.
His first wicket was that of opener Devon Conway who made 24 runs in 42 balls and tried to hit Malik on the offside. The wide ball was quick enough to beat Conway as he only managed to edge it to keeper Rishabh Pant, who pouched an easy catch to give Malik his first ODI wicket.

Malik continued to trouble the Kiwi batters and his next victim was big-hitter Daryl Mitchell, who was looking dangerous for his 11 runs which included a six. Mitchell tried to hit a wide, short-of-the-length ball towards the covers region for a maximum.
But the speed of the ball caused it to take the edge of the bat and it flew to substitute Deepak Hooda who was positioned at a deep backward point and took a decently good catch.
