BCCI unveils fixtures for Team India’s 2024-25 home season

Bangladesh, New Zealand and England will tour India later this year.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday (June 20) announced schedule for Team India’s much-anticipated 2024-25 home season.

The international home season will get underway in September with a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, followed by a three-match T20I series.

Chennai will host the opening Test starting on September 19 while the second Test will be played in Kanpur from September 27. The three T20Is will be held in Dharamshala, Delhi and Hyderabad.

This will be followed by a riveting three-match Test series against New Zealand, with the first Test starting on October 16 in Bengaluru. Pune and Mumbai will stage the second and third Test respectively.

The arrival of the New Year will see an exciting white-ball showdown with England taking on India in five T20Is and three ODIs.

The detailed itinerary for the international home season 2024-25 is as follows:

Bangladesh tour of India

1st Test: Chennai (September 19-23)

2nd Test: Kanpur (September 27-October 1)

1st T20I: Dharamsala (October 6)

2nd T20I: Delhi (October 9)

3rd T20I: Hyderabad (October 12)

New Zealand tour of India

1st Test: Bengaluru (October 16-20)

2nd Test: Pune (October 24-28)

3rd Test: Mumbai (November 1-5)

England tour of India

1st T20I: Chennai (January 22)

2nd T20I: Kolkata (January 25)

3rd T20I: Rajkot (January 28)

4th T20I: Pune (January 31)

5th T20I: Mumbai (February 2)

1st ODI: Nagpur (February 6)

2nd ODI: Cuttack (February 9)

3rd ODI: Ahmedabad (February 12)
