Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar both are currently playing in the LLC 2023.
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi took a dig at his former teammate and former pacer Shoaib Akhtar over his recent remark on the current captain Babar Azam over his inability to speak English.
Recently, the Rawalpindi Express claimed that Babar is not a "brand" in Pakistan because he can’t communicate in English. Later, the former pacer was heavily criticized by fans and former cricketers, and now Afridi has hilariously trolled Akhtar for the same.
Actually, the former Pakistan all-rounder is currently playing in the Legends League Cricket Masters in Qatar, where he is representing the Asia Lions. Apart from Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Akhtar are also taking part in LLC 2023.
Well, they took some time from their busy schedules to enjoy each other’s company, and it backfired for the former Pakistan pacer.

Akhtar shared a video on his official YouTube where he, Afridi, Misbah, and Sohail Tanvir were seen pulling each other's legs while remembering their time playing together for the Pakistan team. During their conversation, Afridi took a savage dig at Akhtar, seemingly over a comment on Babar.
Afridi can be heard saying in the video: “Main toh keh raha hu Ishaq Dar (Pakistan's finance minister) sahab ki chhutti karwao, Shoaib Akhtar ko finance minister leke aao. Isko brand banaane aate hain, ye brand banaayega (I'm telling you, relieve Ishaq Dar of his duties. Bring Shoaib Akhtar as the finance minister. He knows how to build brands, he will make brands!).”
