Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma gain big in ODI rankings in the latest update of ICC players' rankings

Suryakumar Yadav remains the no.1 ranked batter in T20I rankings.

Indian batter Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma were big gainers in the latest update of the ICC ODI players rankings on January 11, 2023, Wednesday. This came after the first ODI between India and Sri Lanka on January 10 in Assam.

Kohli scored a stunning century in India's victory against Sri Lanka in the first ODI in Guwahati and has moved up two spots to 6th. On the other hand, captain Rohit Sharma also scored an aggressive 83 and has gained a spot to sit at 8th.

For Sri Lanka, captain Dasun Shanaka scored a fighting ton despite his side losing and has gained 20 spots to move to 61.

In the bowling charts, Mohammed Siraj is the biggest gainer after scalping two wickets in the first ODI, moving up four spots to 18. 

Suryakumar Yadav continues to reign supreme as the no.1 ranked T20I batter, especially after his match and series-winning century against Sri Lanka in the third and final T20I.

In the Test format, Usman Khawaja moved to the 8th spot in the Men's Test batters' rankings, after his 195* in Sydney Test against South Africa.

From the New Zealand-Pakistan second Test, Tom Latham’s 71 and 62 moved him upto the 19th spot, while Devon Conway’s century took him to the 21st spot in the rankings.

Marnus Labuschagne continues his reign at the top of the rankings chart in the batters rankings. 

In the bowling charts, Josh Hazlewood gain six spots to move to the No. 10 spot, while Cummins remains the no.1 ranked Test bowler.
