The Motorway Police in Pakistan fined former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi for overspeeding. According to many media reports, Afridi was fined 1,500 (Pakistani rupees) for the infraction, which occurred when he was traveling from Lahore to Karachi. He paid the fine and praised the officers for standing up to him despite his celebrity status.

The report quoted him as saying, "The law is equal for everyone." After the incident, Afridi posed for photos with police officers.
Later, the 42-year-old hailed the cops for their courteous behavior. He also recommended raising the limit to over 120 kmph.
The former all-rounder was a well-known player in his day and was regarded as one of the game's most ruthless batters. Over the course of a career spanning more than 20 years, he played for Pakistan in 398 ODIs, 99 T20Is, and 27 Tests. In the 50-over format, he had a strike rate of 117, and in the shortest one, it was a staggering 150.
The former Pakistan skipper has amassed 8064 runs and six centuries in ODIs. In fact, he maintains the record for the third-fastest ODI century ever. Against Sri Lanka in 1996, the all-rounder had reached the triple figures in just 37 balls.
Afridi also has nine five-wicket hauls in the 50-over format, with his best bowling stats being 7/12. In ODIs, he has taken 395 wickets overall.
