Deepak Hooda was named the Player-of-the-Match and Player-of-the-Series.
India and Ireland battled in a high-scoring thriller on Tuesday (June 28) at Malahide in Dublin with the visitors prevailing by four runs to clinch the two-match T20I series 2-0.
Indian captain Hardik Pandya won the toss again and opted to bat first this time as the side made three changes with Sanju Samson, Harshal Patel and Ravi Bishnoi coming in for Ruturaj Gaikwad, Avesh Khan and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Deepak Hooda (104) and Sanju Samson (77) put up a spectacular show with the bat, adding 176 runs for the second wicket - the highest ever partnership for India in T20Is. Samson struck his maiden half-century, while Hooda became the fourth Indian to score a century in Men's T20Is after Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Suresh Raina.

After the duo were dismissed, Dinesh Karthik, Akshar Patel and Harshal Patel bagged golden ducks as India finished their innings at 225/7, an imposing total but few short of where they would have liked to be after the efforts of Hooda-Samson.
Hardik remained unbeaten on 13 in 9 balls as Mark Adair (3/42), Josh Little (2/38) and Craig Young (2/35) finished well for Ireland as they picked up five wickets for just 19 runs in last 16 balls.
Ireland's chase was a spirited one as captain Andy Balbirnie (60) and Paul Stirling (40) made them dream of a victory which seemed unlikely at the start of their innings. Harry Tector (39), George Dockrell (34*) and Mark Adair (23*) continued the fight as the equation came down to 17 off the final over to be bowled by Umran Malik, in just his 2nd T20I.
The Indian speedster, who broke the 150 kmph barrier during his spell, and picked up his first international wicket, held his nerve after bowling a no-ball on the second delivery of his over, which was then followed by a four and six by Adair. With 8 needed in 3 balls, Umran bowled three good deliveries to win the game by four runs for his team as well as the series 2-0.
Deepak Hooda was named the Player-of-the-Match and Player-of-the-Series for his 151 runs in the two matches. The Indian white-ball team will now head to UK where they will play England in three T20Is and three ODIs from July 7-17.
Brief scores:
India 225/7 20 overs (Hooda 104 Samson 77 Adair 3/42) beat Ireland 221/5 20 overs (Balbirnie 60 Stirling 40 Bishnoi 1/41) by 4 runs to win series 2-0.
