Maxwell and Vini Raman set to get married on 27th March in Melbourne.
Australia cricketer Glenn Maxwell, who is set to marry his long-time fiancée Vini Raman, has found himself in a pickle after their wedding invitation in Tamil was leaked on the internet.
Glenn and Vini have planned a small wedding with only 350 guests which include their closest friends and relatives. However, for those who understand Tamil, it has become a worldwide recognized event.
Maxwell has revealed that relatives in India were overjoyed and shared the invitation with a few acquaintances, and now there are lakhs of copies of the invitation on the internet. He went on to say that they'll have to beef up security for the wedding, which will take place in Melbourne.

“It was not ideal. We’ve got to get extra security for the wedding now. It was supposed to be a private event and unfortunately the relatives over in India just got a little bit excited and decide to show a few friends. Next minute, it’s in pretty much every paper over there and I’m getting tweeted it by pretty much everyone. So that was that was a shock. It’s been a busy couple of days," Maxwell told www.cricket.com.au.
On March 27, the 33-year-old is expected to marry, maybe in a traditional Tamil Brahmin ceremony in Melbourne. Maxwell claimed that one of his former IPL teammates informed him about the entire invitation leak issue.
Maxwell is currently in Australia, where he is playing in the five T20I series against Sri Lanka. He is set to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022.
