India created history yet again after winning their fifth Under-19 World Cup title with a four-wicket win over England in the final at Antigua on February 5. In a low-scoring game, India displayed composure in the chase of a tricky target to win the trophy.

England won the toss and opted to bat first at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, but the Tom Prest-led side was rocked soon by Ravi Kumar with the new ball and then Raj Bawa's triple-strike reduced them to 61/6.

James Rew played an innings of tremendous maturity to score 95 and added 93 runs for the eighth wicket with James Sales who scored 34* as England were bowled out for 189 in 44.5 overs. Bawa (5/31) picked a five-wicket haul, becoming only the second bowler to do so in U-19 World Cup finals. Ravi Kumar finished with 4/34, continuing his impressive performances in the Super League.

India lost opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi for a duck but then Harnoor Singh (21), vice-captain Shaik Rasheed (50) and captain Yash Dhull (17) got starts but fell just when things looked in control of the side.

Nishant Sindhu, who led India in couple of games earlier in the tournament, played an innings that will go down in history as the one that sealed the deal for India as he scored an unbeaten 50. Bawa continued his great day with a strokeful 35 to get India close to their target, before Dinesh Rana smashed two consecutive sixes to finish the game.

As India's historic win came in the early hours of Sunday, Indian cricket fraternity and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly were quick to react and applaud the new World Champions.

Here are some of the reactions:
