Arjun Tendulkar picks his favorite Mumbai Indians player, and it's not Rohit Sharma

Arjun Tendulkar has named his favorite player from the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Mumbai Indians (MI). He was part of MI last season after the franchise bought him in the auction for his base price of Rs 20 lakhs.

Interacting with the fans on Instagram, Arjun was asked to name his favorite MI player. Responding to the question, the youngster tagged India's pace bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah as his favorite pick.

MI have been a star-studded squad always. They have featured players like Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult, Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma last season.

Arjun's father, Sachin Tendulkar was also part of the franchise till 2013. In Sachin's 78 matches in the IPL, he scored a total of 2,334 runs. Mumbai Indians retired his number 10 jersey as a tribute to him.

Going into the IPL 2022 mega-auction, Mumbai Indians have retained four players. They have INR 48 crore remaining in their purse for the auction. 

Skipper Rohit was retained for INR 16 crore, Bumrah was paid INR 12 crore, Suryakumar got INR 8 crore, and Kieron Pollard was the last pick for INR 6 crore.
